Oliver is an accomplished coach, advisor, and former C-level corporate executive with a strong record of leading transformational change, building effective organizations, developing superior talent, and inspiring others to achieve their highest aspirations. His international work with organizations, C-level, and other senior executives spans various industry verticals, including for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. He has extensive experience in coaching senior leaders to maximize their effectiveness as they transition into new roles and in coaching seasoned leaders to help them discover their next level of performance and maximize the contribution of their teams.

Immediately following his corporate career, Oliver was a partner in a business consultancy that offers an array of services and licenses patent-pending tools designed to enable executives to foster strategic alignment, lead change, and mitigate operational risk. These tools and services are also designed to facilitate more robust corporate governance and improve the effectiveness of boards in performing their strategic oversight roles.

Oliver has leveraged his education in law and finance into an array of rich and diverse business experiences. He was previously Senior Vice President and Chief Talent Officer at CCC Information Services, a leading software and services firm for the insurance industry, where he helped lead an organizational makeover and business turnaround that resulted in a four-fold increase in enterprise value over five years.  Before CCC, he served as a senior executive in several industry-leading firms, where his roles spanned business operations, change leadership, and human resources. In addition to leader and organization development, his practical experience includes corporate governance, strategy development, acquisitions and divestitures, process improvement, and operations management.

Oliver has spoken extensively on strategy, change leadership, and human capital issues. He has been an advisor on people and performance matters at an academic forum sponsored by one of the nation’s leading universities.

Oliver has maintained a commitment to education and public service throughout his career. His civic affiliations have included strategic planning and board leadership roles in various service and educational organizations. Most recently, Oliver served as Treasurer of the Black Ensemble Theater Company board in Chicago, Illinois. This not-for-profit organization seeks to improve self-esteem and achievement among youth in under-served communities by providing formal theater arts education programs through the Chicago Public Schools. He is also past board Chair and a current trustee of Asheville School, one of the nation’s leading prep schools. In addition, Oliver serves as Vice President of the Independent Schools Chairpersons Association board.
