Summary

Kim specializes in turning high-potential leaders into exceptional communicators with an embodied approach. Ranging from pitch preparations to sales calls and keynote delivery, she integrates storytelling and audience engagement to expand the comfort zone from the inside and out.

Participants appreciate her for creating trust and for bringing big picture awareness and cross-cultural sensitivity while anchoring the learning experience in what is real and relevant in the moment. Her methodology is gathered in the book The Right Kind of Loud – Finding Your Communication Voice.

Kim has worked and lived in ten countries, and she is fluent and able to deliver in six languages. As a Third Culture Kid, she is acutely aware that there is no ‘right way’ of doing things. This lifelong fluidity has given her an innate sensitivity to navigating and leveraging global careers.

Starting out as a singer and expressive artist, Kim has also developed a variety of creative techniques and projects centered around expressing our authentic self. She is an avid choir leader and a sought-after keynote speaker.

Business Experience

Kim transitioned from her work as a voice, writing, and drama teacher for educational institutions to corporate training in the early 2000s. Through her work, she has helped countless professionals get to the next level of their careers with self-awareness and influencing tools.

Adapting from one-on-one coaching to mastermind and large groups, Kim has honed her craft to empower leaders and audiences across industries and regions. With an MA in Organization Development, she brings a strategic perspective to her sessions.

Alongside her work as a trainer, Kim has supported marginalized communities with expressive arts projects and sessions throughout her career. Her work with people recovering from substance abuse, incarcerated and mentally ill learners, as well as refugees and asylum seekers, has gifted her with a deepened compassion and sharpened facilitation mastery.

Performing Experience

30+ years as a singer and performer working in opera in Sweden, musical duo with guitarist in Berlin, physical theatre in Denmark, writing and delivering solo performances in San Francisco, poetry performance in Copenhagen, choir founder and leader for groups in Barcelona, San Francisco, and Dubai
