Summary

David is a professional actor (Actor’s Equity Union and the Screen Actor’s Guild), author, director, producer, playwright, mime, T’ai chi teacher, and corporate facilitator. He has his own national theatre touring company, which has been in business for more than 30 years. In his more than 20 years as a consultant, trainer, and coach for the Ariel Group, he has delivered leadership development programs for nonprofit organizations up to Fortune 500 companies. David’s two great joys are performing and teaching, because both skills allow him to engage with audiences in deeply personal and transformative ways. David has also been practicing and teaching Tai chi and Gi gong for 45 years, and has spent many summers teaching courses in meditation, theater, and Tai chi on the Greek island of Skyros. A believer in life-long learning, David’s most recent skill acquisitions are the Italian language and circular breathing with the Australian Didgeridoo!

David’s business experience is deeply intertwined with his love for theater: Over 20 years with the Ariel Group; Owner/Producer of True Blue Productions; a former Artistic Director for Young Audiences of Massachusetts; a former member of the Young Audiences of Massachusetts Board of Directors; and a co-founder of the Boston Repertory Theatre, where he functioned as actor, director, playwright and business manager.
