Sherri Blix is a leadership development coach with over 20 years of business experience. She develops leaders who want to make meaningful change where it matters most: within themselves, with their teams, and within their organizations.
In all of her coaching relationships, Sherri’s optimistic style brings out the client’s strengths and utilizes them to help address areas for growth and development.
Thanks to her background in adult learning, she knows that fundamental transformation occurs when working with a client’s strengths, not against them. Her optimistic yet realistic style guides leaders in setting stretch goals that excite them, creating development plans that fit real life, and practicing new skills in ways that feel authentic to who they are.
As a credentialed and certified coach, Sherri’s client roster spans a range of industries including: manufacturing, healthcare, consumer products, communications, and technology. Companies that’ve trusted her to help level up their leaders include: AbbVie, Adobe, Allstate, Cisco, EY, Gap, Medline, S&P Global, Sephora, and US Foods.
Before becoming an executive coach, Sherri held leadership roles at the American Heart Association, Deloitte, and other organizations, where she learned what it takes to drive results through people. Before that, Sherri was a professional actress and cable TV host – jobs that provided a fertile training ground for executive presence, managing nerves, and connecting with an audience (skills that translate surprisingly well to boardrooms and conference calls).
Outside of work, Sherri enjoys Chicago’s incredible theatre scene (from off-stage), gets overly competitive when playing paddle tennis, and delights in experiencing different cultures through international travel. She is a lifelong learner who is fascinated with spirituality and the mind-body connection. She lives in Evanston with her husband, teenage daughter, and the newest member of the family, a Goldendoodle puppy.
