Summary

Based in London, U.K., David is a professional actor, voice-over, presenter, and executive coach, as well as a former Chemistry, Physics, and English teacher. He’s always been fascinated by the overlap and interplay between different disciplines. Hence, Ariel is a perfect fit..! When not coaching or running Leadership programs globally and online, he frequently performs his interactive “Living History of Science” one-man shows, as Sir Isaac Newton, IK Brunel, or Michael Faraday, as well as “Mathmagics!” and “Samuel Pepys & the Great Fire of London”. He’s facilitated an educational tour for 9-10 year-olds for Cambridge Science Centre and Roche, and designs and delivers his own dynamic Shakespeare and Physical Theatre workshops too. Through all of his work, David is passionate about inspiring audiences of all ages, opening their eyes to new wonders, opportunities, and experiences, and helping them to achieve their full potential.

With his background in Science and Engineering, as well as the theatre, David has delivered countless impactful and highly successful programs and coaching sessions to a wide range of clients, including Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola Hellenic, Oliver Wyman, Harvard Business School, BCG, Gavi, Bentley Systems, American Express, BASF, Rolls Royce, Lonza, Aditya Birla, G.E., AstraZeneca, Addiko Bank, Capital One, Wells Fargo, Bayer, Sainsburys, Colt, FrieslandCampina, Pfizer and The Oak Foundation.

Business Experience

As well as running his own business as an actor, facilitator and coach, David has extensive experience as a professional role-player, working with companies including British Telecom, Accenture, Pearl Assurance, The University of Law, The Royal College of General Practitioners, Marriott, Pearson, Barclays, TGI Friday’s, the Royal Air Force, the British Army, local councils and police services, and the UK’s National Health Service.

Theater Experience

  • David has performed in venues ranging from tiny village halls, regional theatres, open-air venues, and schools to Shakespeare’s Globe and the National Theatre in London’s West End.
  • Roles have included Demetrius in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, the musketeer Athos in “The Three Musketeers,” and Bruce in Joe Penhall’s award-winning 2001 play “Blue Orange”.
  • In the 1990s, he toured extensively with The Original Shakespeare Company, across the UK, to Jordan, and at Shakespeare’s Globe, using cue scripts drawn from the “First Folio” printing of Shakespeare’s plays. Roles included Lysander, Sir Toby Belch (12th Night), Faulconbridge (King John), Antipholus of Ephesus (A Comedy of Errors), Pisano (Cymbeline), and more.
  • For the English Shakespeare Company, he’s played Macbeth and Richard III – and for the award-winning Trestle Theatre Company, he performed in “Hanging Around” and “School Rules,” both in Full Mask.
