Marion Walz has been an independent executive coach, sparring partner for senior executives, organizational development and change consultant, facilitator, leadership and communication trainer, conflict mediator, and specialist for novel, agile ways of collaboration since 2010.

Since then, she has passionately pursued the question of how people can communicate in a more goal-oriented, clear, and meaningful way, organize themselves and their work more effectively, and achieve better results faster and with a higher degree of personal fulfillment.

She uses systemic, solution-oriented, and participative approaches while focusing on her clients’ resources to help them reach their goals. One of her areas of expertise is supporting decision-makers in effectively dealing with today’s complexity-driven challenges. They require a whole new set of leadership skills. Other specialties include leadership communication, novel and responsive organizational structures, and innovative ways of working that are more suitable for an increasingly interconnected, uncertain, fast-paced world.

Before becoming independent, Marion spent 14 years in various roles (sales, business development, consulting, key accounts, project, team, and general management). She has worked internationally in organizations of different sizes, cultures, and industries (investment banking, asset management, strategy consulting, private equity consulting, communication, and marketing). This experience, combined with her educational background, versatility, strong analytical capabilities, soft skills, and life experience, allows her to relate to top executives and their personal and professional challenges with ease. She gains insight into the respective industry dynamics very quickly.

Marion is a German and Swiss national currently living in Zurich, Switzerland. She has also lived and/or worked in Belgium, Ecuador, France, Germany, India, Ireland and the UK. She coaches in German, Swiss German, and English.
