John Blakey

John Blakey is one of the UK’s leading executive coaches having worked with corporate CEOs and MDs around the globe. He is also a proven entrepreneur and corporate business leader with a board level track record in FTSE100 and Fast Track 100 organisations.

John’s coaching work have been captured in two acclaimed books -‘Challenging Coaching’ co-authored with Ian Day, and ‘The Trusted Executive’, which includes findings from his prize winning doctoral research on trust at Aston Business School.

Due to the impact of his books, John has become a sought-after international conference speaker and member of the speaker bureau of Vistage, the world’s largest CEO membership organization. In 2016, he was named, alongside Steven M. Covey, Simon Sinek and Brene Brown, as one of the top 100 thought leaders in trust by ‘Trust Across America’.

In his own business career, John has been a FTSE100 International Managing Director, entrepreneur and director of Fast Track 100 technology consultancy, Team121, which was sold to Logica in 1999. John’s work draws upon a broad range of influences including his Christian faith, his various academic studies and his PCC coaching credential with the International Coach Federation.
