Elfarina Zaid is a driven facilitator, coach, and trainer with a broad international clientele and an acute understanding of multicultural diversity. With extensive commercial awareness and excellent communication skills, she empowers leaders and teams to develop effective working relationships toward organizational values and vision at all levels. Her work combines keen insight, experiential learning, and transformative development to inspire collaboration, align work environments, and increase individual and business performance. Elfarina is based in Singapore.

Elfarina blends her corporate experience of brand and organizational management, her community role as Director of Strategic Development with Singapore Business Council, UAE, with her acute sense of cross-cultural understanding, having lived and worked in Australia, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East over eight years. Her diverse career spans over a decade of hospitality, brand, events, and organizational management. She has a deep knowledge of Asian culture and process facilitation that enables her to communicate and partner with her clients across various industries and levels of management to blend coaching and innovation into multiple areas of strategic planning, human capital development, and employee engagement.

Her clients have included UNICEF, Adidas International, SMG – Singtel, Starhub, IDA, Singapore Tourism Board, Singapore Turf Club, Singapore Civil Service College, Schlumberger and Ichiban Advisors.

Elfarina is a Faculty member of Coaches Training Institute (CTI), the world’s oldest and largest in-person coach training school, and co-founder of the International Coach Federation (ICF). In 2012, CTI had a strategic partnership with The Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School, to bring the art and practice of coaching together with the science that supports its efficacy. She has trained hundreds of participants around Asia on the first ICF-accredited co-active coaching methodology, including organizations like BASF.

Elfarina is deeply integrated into the coaching community in Asia. She was 2nd Vice President of ICF Singapore (2013-2014) and co-organized the Asia Pacific Coaching Conference 2012. Elfarina holds a Master of Science in Innovation and a Bachelor’s in Business Management. Her Master’s thesis focused on “Coaching for Innovation in Asia.” She is a Mentor for the Postgraduates and Undergraduates of Singapore Management University.

Elfarina received International Awards in honor of her excellence in the field of the coaching industry. She is a recipient of the Global Leadership Coaching Award by the World Coaching Congress and the International Coach Federation Cultural Competency Scholarship Award.

As an author, she has contributed to the book “Catalyst for Change – Chinese Business in Asia” with a chapter on “In Search of ‘Asian’ Conceptions of Leadership with Focus on Mindfulness” published by World Scientific Publishing. She has also co-authored a conference paper with her client on the successful case study on “Improved Employee Retention Through Active Engagement and Focused Action.”
