As Head of Sales at Ariel, Willem leads the global customer-facing sales organization, guiding how Ariel partners with clients from initial engagement through long-term relationship expansion.
Throughout his career, Willem has built and led high-performing direct, channel, and alliance teams that sit at the intersection of customer need and business impact. He has helped organizations evolve from early-stage or founder-led selling into disciplined, customer-centric go-to-market models, holding senior leadership roles at Totara Learning, D2L, Boundless Learning, and FileWave. In these roles, he partnered closely with executive teams, boards, and private equity stakeholders to ensure growth strategies remained tightly aligned to customer success.
