Martin Radvan is an NED of McCain Foods. He is additionally a mentor with Merryck-Mentore (UK) and Ariel Group (US) and an Advisor to the STAMMA Charity and works with various Consultancy groups.
Martin has just retired as Chairman of Weatherbys, a UK conglomerate involved in a wide range of activities, largely within horse racing, genomics, and banking. Prior to that, he was an NED of Chipita SA, a fast-growth branded international food company headquartered in Athens, Greece, until their sale to Mondelez.
In 2019, Martin retired his position as Executive Vice President of Mars Inc., and President & CEO of Mars Wrigley Confectionery, the world’s largest confectionery manufacturer. He was responsible for all the Mars chocolate, gum, mints and confections brands and held an $18bn P&L.
Martin had a wide range of functional roles during his career with Mars, including serving as Group CIO and running the Drinks segment. He has lived in the US, UK, Middle East and France.
Martin has very strong family governance and business experience over 33 years. He worked extensively with the current generations of the Mars family at Mars. He also led the Berkshire Hathaway relationship, including working closely with Warren Buffett.
Martin additionally combines large and smaller business experience, having run smaller businesses within Mars, as a NED on an entrepreneurial owner-managed business, Chipita SA, Weatherbys and now with McCain.
