Ken Johnsen is an accomplished senior leader with over 35 years of career success developing and executing complex business and technology strategies to drive business and organizational change, with a passion for building and leading high impact global teams on transformational initiatives.

Ken is currently an Operating Partner at Exactus Advisors where he consults with senior management on select engagements in areas of strategy and technology. As Department Head of Data and Analytics at Caterpillar, Inc., a position akin to Chief Data Officer, Ken led the development of the Global enterprise data and analytics strategy, a key component of Caterpillar’s global digital transformation. This strategy included implementing Data Governance, a data platform and a hub/ spoke business analytics model – a key enabler to Caterpillar’s Digital and Services strategy delivering a rich and consistent digital customer experience while leveraging advanced analytics to detect and predict failures on over 1 million connected assets before they happen, saving customers both time and money.
