Business Experience
Gailie studied to be an actor-director and worked extensively in London’s West End, the US, and UAE. As well as working all over London, her charitable theatre company was also invited to work in Botswana. She recently became Artistic Director of Contexture Theatre, a new repertory theatre company north of London, with whom she regularly acts and directs. She has worked with the University of Law for 30 years, aiding their students in presentation skills.
Theater Experience
- Artistic Director of Contexture Theater, and has directed six plays which include: Journey’s End, Blue/Orange, and Season’s Greetings.
- Artistic Director of the ‘Write Here! Write Now!’ playwriting festival. She runs playwriting classes throughout the year and directs 30 short plays produced in three regional theatres. The winner gets to develop their play into a full-length version under her tutelage.
- Over 30 years of experience as an actor, working on stage all over the world and in roles on TV and film.
Education and Credentials
- Degree in Dramatic Studies from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland
