Kent began his career by serving in the Merchant Marines. After that, he held positions working on sales processes, creative problem solving, sales development strategies, and professional development for more than 10 years. As a Senior Marketing Manager with the Surgical Products Division, he created a comprehensive curriculum for Field Sales, Technical Service, Customer Service, Marketing, and Management.
Kent’s consulting work has had him traveling extensively throughout the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Far East, facilitating training sessions and strategic planning meetings. He’s worked with such clients as: American Express, General Electric, AT&T, Olympus, Citibank, Pepsi, Chase, Standard Chartered Bank
Kent has years of experience as a consultant and manager. A frequent public speaker, Kent presents on the topics of managing through change, time and territory management, strategic sales process, and coaching and performance management. He is also a member of the core curriculum faculty of the New England School of Banking at Williams College teaching consultative sales and marketing.
