2019 Open Enrollment Programs

Register for our upcoming open enrollment programs to expand your skills in all types of communication: from how you show up (whether virtual or face-to-face) to how you write email and other documents. Our experiential courses allow you to learn and practice new skills that you can immediately apply on the job.

 

Business Writing Essentials (Digital classroom): This digital course will enable you to develop the skills of reader-centered writing. Through self-paced modules, group discussions, and diverse activities, you will discover how to plan, draft, and edit writing that conveys a professional image and achieves optimal results. After the program, you will be able to understand the factors that make a piece of writing clear, effective, and readable, and be able to tailor your written messages so that both you and your readers get what you need.

                     Licenses will be good for 60 days, beginning from the time you receive your login information.

 

Presence Essentials (Digital classroom): This digital course will enable you to develop the skills and behaviors of presence in a scalable way. Through self-paced modules, group discussions, and diverse activities, you will discover how to show up with impact, influence broad audiences, and build self-awareness about your personal brand.

Licenses will be good for 60 days, beginning from the time you receive your login information.

 

Leading with Presence (Lexington, MA): Participants in this two-day program will draw upon their own unique history and style, and using the power of storytelling, self-awareness, empathy, and authenticity, they’ll learn to inspire trust, promote collaboration, and galvanize the people around them to follow their lead and reach breakthrough results. After the program, participants will be able to bring authenticity to their executive presence, as well as sell themselves and their ideas with power and passion.

                     Program Dates: September 17 & 18

 

Personal Presence (Lexington, MA): Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to demonstrate a level of confidence that matches their expertise and intellect. By mastering the subtleties of voice, body, and message congruence, participants learn how to craft and deliver a polished, compelling statement of the unique value they bring to their organization or project. After the program, participants will be able to articulate their unique value, as well as build awareness of their strengths and areas for growth.

Reader-Centered Business Writing (Lexington, MA): This one-day program leads participants through The Six Steps to Reader-Centered Writing—a strategic, repeatable framework to create concise, action-driving documents. Starting with audience analysis, then brainstorming, then choosing the best ways to group and sequence information, they plan, draft, and edit a piece of writing from their real to-do list. After the program, participants will be able to write for results, as well as build credibility and enhance their professional image.

                      Program Date: October 23

 

Virtual Presence (Virtual classroom): Virtual Presence uses best-in-class virtual learning platforms and a unique methodology rooted in actor training to help you engage, build relationships, and connect with people in any virtual context. We can’t always rely on the benefits and nuances of in-person interaction, but the most successful professionals harness their virtual presence to connect authentically with their remote audiences. After the program, participants will be able to adapt to the challenges of virtual interactions, as well as develop stronger vocal and webcam presence.

                      Program Dates: October 28, October 30, & November 1
