Central to the Ariel Group’s work is our unique Leadership
Presence model, also known as the “PRES” Model. As
Belle Halpern and Kathy Lubar write in Leadership
Presence, effective leaders are:
— Able to be completely in the moment and flexible enough
to handle the unexpected.
— Able to build relationships with others through
empathy, listening, and authentic connection.
— Able to express feelings and emotions appropriately
by using all means of expression—words, voice, body, face—to
deliver one congruent message.
— Able to accept themselves, to be authentic, and
to reflect their values in their decisions and actions.
