Carol Lempert

New York, NY based Carol Lempert is an Executive Coach, Learning Designer and Communication Specialist and with over 15 years of experience in the field of Training and Development.  She has trained and coached people at all levels; from internal service providers to mid-level managers to CIO’s.

Carol believes implicitly in the power of practice and coaching. “I came to understand the importance of practice while working on my Master’s thesis in Theatre. There is no way to perform Shakespeare without hours and hours of practice (rehearsal) and coaching (direction). This discipline has helped me understand the importance of performing in all its forms. On the stage and on the job.”

Her coaching philosophy is uncomplicated: “Get to know and like the person. Find out what they want to improve. Find out what makes them tick. Create a baseline of current skills. Create a plan the person is comfortable with.  Provide insightful feedback. Create many, many practice moments for the person to ‘try the new skills on’. Encourage, encourage, encourage. Celebrate success.”

People who have worked with Carol have said that they are able to:

  • Deliver feedback more effectively
  • Coach their own teams to better success
