Sean Shingler, Director of Client Relations
Sean Shingler is a Director of Client Relations for The Ariel Group. He has worked on leadership development with many organizations including Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Discovery Communications, Marriott International, Genworth Financial, and Sherwin Williams. Prior to joining Ariel, Sean was the Washington, DC Managing Director for a New York City-based training company specializing in improving communication skills.
Sean began his career in training as the Director of Expansion for an international nonprofit company headquartered in Indianapolis. He discovered the joy in helping others as he presented, recruited, and trained collegiate student leaders from across the country. As his love for presenting messages grew, he pursued a consultative sales career with both national printing and pharmaceutical companies where he achieved numerous accolades.
A native of the Washington, DC area, he graduated with a Geology degree from George
Mason University. For over 10 years he volunteered time as the chapter adviser to a national fraternity at GMU where was also regional adviser for the Washington, DC area and facilitated training programs across the country. In 2009 he was elected to the National Executive Board of his fraternity.
In his free time, Sean likes to attend sporting events, being outdoors and traveling. He also enjoys spending his time with his wife and three daughters, all under the age of five. He and his family live in Fredericksburg, VA.
